Nguyễn Văn Linh was born in Saigon in 1924. He studied at the Fine Arts College of Gia Dinh (1942-48), and in 1948 took part in an National Fine Arts Exhibition in Saigon. Then in 1949 in a Group Exhibition with other artists at the Saigon Fair.
Other Exhibitions followed in Saigon, Paris, France, USA, and Brussels.
1970-75 his paintings were displayed as a Solo Exhibitor at the Fine Arts National Exhibition in Saigon, and in 1975 he was awarded the Silver Medal.
He died in 1977.
