Matin Blake (b.1955).
Painter of abstracts, printmaker and teacher who studied at St Martin’s School of Art, 1974–8. Was artist-in-residence at Felsted School, Essex, 1979–81, then went on to teach at Alleyn’s School, Dulwich. Blake showed with London Art Schools at Air Gallery, 1978; Minories, Colchester, 1981; Bakehouse Gallery, 1982; and Gainsborough’s House, Sudbury, 1983. In 1984 he had a solo show at Woodlands Art Gallery.
